Asio or Wasapi?

I'm using the Sennheiser HD 820 'phones and IFI Neo IDSD DAC/amp combination. My software (JRiver) gives me the options of Asio, or Wasapi for listening to music. Which should I choose, and what is the difference?

Purely for playback WASAPI exclusive is bit perfect just like ASIO, but more stable, ASIO can be configured to have less latency, but can be temperamental esp. with 192khz or mixed bitrate playlists.

If you have materials that is not above DSD128 or DXD try: Kernel Streaming
Usually is at the "Other" options.
