I have windows 8 x64 and i installed the 64 bit ASIO drivers from the Fiio E17. However, when i checked off " use 64-bit ASIO drivers" , it says no ASIO drivers r found.

Another issue is that when i'm playing music in foosbar, the control panel for ASIO FIIO would sometimes the ASIO drvier status is non-active/stop. This happens even when 64 bit is ticked off and I made sure the output is selected as ASIO: FIIO. Should i just ignore this?

on a side note: Should i set the resampler in foosbar to 96000 hz, in terms of better sound quality?

Unless your files are 96k you should leave it set to 44.1k.

I run the ASIO driver with my Grace m903 with no problems, but I have to keep the device in USB 2.0 mode and utilize a true USB 2.0 port.

is upsampling comparable to converting a 128kbps mp3 to a 320 kbps mp3? Or is it more like a dvd upscaling to 1080p? Or none of the above?
