Hello so i am starting to create my collection of flac files to "futureproof" my library. I also just purchased the Xonar Essense STX soundcard and M Audio av 40 speakers. I was wondering if the ASIO output plugin for foobar is for me? will it create any changes noticeable or no?

Wasapi will work just as good if you use vista or w7. No personal experience with KS, so I can't speak for that.

well the thing is i wasnt sure what exactly ASIO was and if it was supported with my sound card, but i suppose i will give wasapi a try because i use windows 7

Works for now? it shold be just as bit-perfect as ASIO

works for now as in until i feel like trying ASIO and messing around with my ears to see what i like and dislike.

It works perfect and i dont ever excpect it to break lol i just meant i will use it for now. sorry for the misunderstanding
