So, I left one of those tiny USB microdrives lying around with important information on it. If it's not in my absolute last resort place, is there anything I can do to keep my info from slipping into the wrong hands (I highly doubt it)? Any advice?

Crash all the worlds computers and peripheral devices simultaneously using a huge Nuclear Winter/EMP device or start a revolution that destroys all civilization as we know it, offer a reward for its return if you have a vague idea where it might have been lost.

I am genuinely sorry, that is a real pain, you might want to contact your credit card company and change all your passwords asap.

Lesson: Always encript your important data.

What type of info? Credit card numbers? Passwords? Get all them changed quickly.
