I miss porta pro alot, so was searching on ebay to purchase one.
 
I thought there was only blue one...but while i was searching on ebay, there are blue, yellow, white, red, black.
 
Also, it looks like there are two types of packaging.
 
I am assuming some of those are fake..?

Fake protapro has very bad built and can be distinguish from real ones right away from inspection. Ask for photos of the headphones and compare them.

Why they would make fake headphones for a pair that is so inexpensive is beyond me. Mine are just like the ones in the link.

Chinese copies are able to make it very cheap. My dealer already spot some out there and report it in a video review of the Portapro at munkong gadget review section.

The storm edition are fake  . koss doesnt even offer them on there website.  i contacted koss and they  told me they do not make theme..I purchased mine from amazon,  they are an authorized koss dealer. This was the first time i purchased what I would consider real headphones . Iwas almost suckerd into buyng the fake ones .Also amazon has the lowest prices

It looks like theyre only available in Scandinavia. Ive got mine since this Christmas and they were bought in Norway but IDK in which e-shop. It was a gift

I bought mine (classic blue) on a local shop (i can vouch that they only sell authentic cans) and it came with a new black box, not the blisterpack, i compared it on the net, and i can pretty much confirm that it is authentic. amazon also uses the same black box packaging.

Thnx for the info. I was just about to order these on amazon.com, but decided to research them a little first. Its too bad, because these look awesome in different colors.

Just got off live chat with Koss and they do make multicolored Koss portapro's for certain countries outside the US. I forgot to ask if they actually make the Storm edition though.

I just bought a black-box version of Koss Porta Pro Classic from World-Wide Stereo via Amazon in US.  This version has a L-shaped plug which is not compatible with my iPhone 2G. It also doesn't have the 6.3mm adapter.

Sorry to comment on this OLD threat but I have bought ones very similar to this ones but in black. Are they original? Is the package the original one? It doesn't seem...

Can someone help me on this?

I think they should be. One of my friends bought black Portas in one big electro centre in Bratislava and they are genuine. I thought that only the 25th edition was black but later I found a similar packaging like mine but black for sale in shops. E.g. in Czech Republic they have special white-blue-red edition. I think its a matter of market.
