If you want headphones for their status that cost twice as much as headphones that sound twice as good, then sure - buy them.  Fake or not, what difference will it make?  Someone would have to take them off your head and study them to tell.
 
Seriously, the price per performance set a new record for Beats, besting the equally-despised Bose headphones on this forum.  There are some serious phones for serious tastes that are available for much less.  Please do some more reading around here.
