this seller is selling refurbished headphones in clear plastic bags without boxes, he has sold over 500 of them
I dont see how many headphones could have been returned or needed to be refurbished
how do you even refurbish new headpones? I have never heard of audio technica selling refubished products, I thought they were located in japan?
of course, this is on ebay, and I have had way too may experiences with counterfeit products on ebay
am I worrying too much about this?

Could be any ATH-M50X headphones that were sent back to Audio Technica USA, for whatever reason and are thought to still in good working order,
might all be sold off, in bulk, as refurbished headphones, to a wholesaler or retail outfit.
 
Suggest you contact Audio Technica USA and ask if the seller is an authorized Audio Technica Retailer and if the refurbs they sell have the full warranty.
