I know most people here hate Bose, so let's not get into that. I just need to know if I need to look out for counterfeit products (please no jokes that counterfeits might actually be better than the real ones

I suppose that there sould be counterfeits out there. I dont think Ive ever searched for Bose on ebay

Odds are though that the fakes sound better than the real cans.

usually the Bose product would be fairly close to the MSRP; if the price for it is significantly low, consider them fakes...

Well the Triports that sell at stores for 140 usually go for no more than 100 on ebay, usually they sell at about 80-90 though which is significantly less. I haven't seen anyone complain about recieving knock offs though.
