I just noticed the thread about fake ATH-ESW9's.
Recently, I bought an ATH-FC700 from eBay (info on the phones here: AudioCubes.com - Audio-Technica ATH-FC700 Portable Headphones -).
I bought it from 'bestgood88', a Hong-Kong eBay-store operating powerseller with 100% positive feedback on >10k sales. His price was a little cheaper than audiocubes (45 pounds vs 56 pounds).
My question is: are there known fakes of these cans circulating or not? They are rather 'unknown' (not the most popular or well known AT model), so there is little info on them on Head-Fi.
I ask this because I do not know if positive feedback and/or being a power seller says anything about wether or not the guy is selling fakes. Also, I do not know if fake headphones are being sold for a LOT less than the originals, or just a little less.
Could anyone give me peace of mind
