Are there any P2P Sharing programs without spyware?

Soulseek is great. I also use kzaa k++ (i forgot what version), IRC, DC++, WinMX, BT, and Usenet sometimes. You can get real good stuff on DC++, but it's harder to use IMO than IRC. WinMX is a lot better than Kazaa because you can get a lot of music at good bitrates, real quick. a prob that i have with WinMX is that i can't use winmx and kazaa at the same time. When a mp3 file is finished dl'ing, I get this error msg in kazaa (only sometimes though) and i have to quit. Suprnova.org is a great site that everybody should know of. It has literally tons of stuff. I got some full albums in less than an hour off that. There is also tons of other good games, movies, ebooks, audiobooks, etc, etc.

Man, I'm suprised the louder, er, more outspoken mods haven't jumped on this yet. Morals be hanged, WE WANT OUR MUSIC! Which reminds me, did anyone see the Pepsi/iTunes commercial during the Super Bowl? At first I thought/hoped it was an EFF.org commercial. Sadly, it wasn't. Still funny, though. Oh yes, and then there was the Linux/IBM one. That was cool. Linux during the Super Bowl.

Anyway, I use IRC, channel #mp3z. They've got Top 40, yeah, but a few of the members also have huge (we're talking tens of thousands of files, and entire albums for the most part) song collections, some of which are quite diverse. I've found everything from Apocalyptica to ZZ Top. Sorry for the pun. No, wait, that's not a pun. It's a lame attempt at a joke, whatever it is.

And yes, AVG Free Edition rocks. It's fast, doesn't take many resources, and it's free. What more can you ask?

Hunterboy55, soulseek is not really underground. it just happens to be 1) one of the few places to be able to find underground 2) started to happen to be a sharing place for electronica (which by some sense shouldnt be seen as underground).....and sorry if i seemed to be questioning ur tastes, but since Soulseekers don't like MTV Top xxxx ppl making Soulseek crowded (the server's capacity is not great) .......they rather ppl share quality stuff like ....RHCP.....
