Are there any good equalizer software / apps for windows that’ll run real time and can be used other than that clunky APO?

Ever since purchasing Sonarworks a few years ago I never went back to APO: https://store.sonarworks.com/products/soundid-reference-for-headphones

In a recent version they also added parametric EQ so I can bake any profile I want. I use it only as an Equalizer, flipping L/R channels and making it to mono... But there is also other useful features in the software as well.

Cheers.

It's expensive but possibly worth it if it's that good. I'll look into it more. Be a good option for speakers as well perhaps, but it's on headphones it seems, and it needs a windows system.

I always had the headphone version. And they do promotional prices from time to time. FWIW, it is a single time purchase.

Good luck. 👍
