The set I have and love is the Senn HD 485. I love the "mellow" sound of the Senns in general and love my bass. mostly listen to RnB hiphop.
My ipod phones at work are Creative EP630? Not fancy, but sound OK. I wish they'd cut bit more noice and the bass was a bit "punchier". I'm thinking of an upgrade (for a while now actually) and heard good things about the Superfi 5.
Is there some place in Perth WA Australia I can demo these at? generally shops don't let you demo earphones - bit annoying when the wrong choice costs you a pretty penny.
Can you please comment on HD485 vs Superfi (the character of the phone)? Are they anything like the Grado's? I hated the Grado sound - bit too responsive on the high end and I hate that.
