Head-Fi slow? No, you don't say?!

Head-Fi has been struggling with slow servers since late 2006.

The slowness I've experience started with the HD800 threads. That's also when I started getting the server busy messages. I don't have the fastest internet connection so maybe that's why I didn't notice anything sooner.

The search interval on the site has been increased to 45 seconds as well.

Am I the only one who noticed a slowdown after the outage last year? The site doesn't seem to have recovered since. And while in general, I've noticed my PC seems to be slowing down, even at work where we have a T1 connection, Head-Fi is slower than other sites.

It's fine in the mornings for me, it's all you us members hogging all the bandwidth.

In fairness there is just shy of 1600 members active right now, i reckon the servers do a decent job all things considered.

Blazing FAST. Fastest website ever. I think you guys should be a "Killer NIC K1 Gaming Network Card" if this website is slow for you. I don't own one but I've heard it supposed to improve your internet rates. You can buy it here.
