- random (non audio, non music) quotes, including the bible
- how their favorite sport's team is doing
- really big font
- sigs with a hard return after each item listing
- disclaimers/warnings (yeah, we know it's your opinion)
- links to other sites (non audio)
- people with nothing in their sig. at least put down your most used current setup of source, amp, phone
- anything random that takes up space and has no relation to audio/head-fi

Aaaaah, horrors! I'm annoying someone! Sorry.

I thought having a blank signature is non-annoying.

But what if I don't know what is my most used current setup?

I don't mind long lists of equipment or what anyone has in their signature. You have the option to disable it or scroll past it.

I will however color my signature in relevance to what I think this thread is.

I didn't realize I was annoying people with my non existent sig either! I guess you're supposed to flip a coin and choose one

hey. who else but me and a few others know that you own an apache. maybe people looking into that amp would find that useful. just my personal preference to have some relevant info in the sig.

...and I know that you weren't necessarily pointing in my direction, but my top 2 quotes pertain to my posting on Head-Fi.

1st one meaning, "I'm not hear to fight, just to discuss.
2nd one meaning: "Don't alway got with the Head-Fi FOTM, make decisions based on your own findings, too.

i'm okay with quotes from songs. it's certainly music/audio related. tells people what kind of music i like. that's relevant. again all this is pretty subjective and i'm sure everyone's sig is objectionable in some way to some one. i guess my point is that, if we are going to comment on sigs, i think there is more to object to in some signatures over others.

i like seeing people's sigs, but would like to see the info in the sigs be relevant to head-fi.

I have been more responsible with my sig lately. Since I found out that I could, I post with it suppressed fairly often. I have also made my sig more compact, and am actually having fun posting sayings and jokes. Aren't we here for enjoyment? It's not exactly a job.
