Let me start off by making the point that I don’t really want to know which people think is better as that is subjective to ones personal preferences and perspectives.
My only question is to someone who has heard both …in terms of freq. response, detail, musicality, enjoy-ability, etc – do you find the $400 Shure e500’s to be in the same listening league as the Grado SR-225’s?
Lets just say each is un-amped and direct out of an iPod.
Different Sounds but same league? The Shure’s are awesome but just don’t hold up to the Grado’s? Other opinion?
