[DJ Fusion]

Hi guys,

So my Grado SR60s finally arrived in the post yesterday. They've got the vwap Senn pads and a 'blu-tac' mod (I'm not sure what this is exactly but I can see a ball of blu-tac through the back of the earmuff thingys.)

I was using them last night with my Sony D-EJ825 discman and I noticed that they sound every-so-slightly 'crunchy' with my hard rock music.

Is this because I'm turning the volume up on my discman to about 80% to get the sound loud enough? Or are they just a bit stoofed?

the bluetac is there to prevent the cord from falling out, i believe

have you tried a different cd player? it could be that your cd player is causing the distortion
