I did a search and read that after 2 weeks they start to distort. But I've also heard they are ok up to 6 months.

Mine are a month old. Do you think they are OK?

I think it's best to contact someone like Westone or a similar specialist for that - It's in their interest (as well as yours) to get the best ear impressions to try and avoid refit issues.
