what do you guys think of this. its on sale for $230cdn

large screen
30gb
lineout

cons

hard drive based
no flac support
no camcorder (ie. 404with camcorder i cannot find)
no touch screen

I really wish i could find a d2 in canada... but this archos has sucha large screen and 30gb.
and lineout.

I wasn't aware that the 404 had a lineout... might have to reconsider it. Where are you getting that price?

i heard that too but i also heard it's using the same jack so i'm not so sure.

FLAC support might be coming for all the new generations soon, because archos has released their code to the public.
