I have had these A900's a month or so and I like them. They are so great and all encompasing. They seem good for everything which is what i wanted, becuase I watch movies, game and listen to music from my PC, so i wanted a quality all arounder.

Now If i was to stricly concentrate on bringing out METAL and cans that are made to reproduce this kind of music what should I start looking at?

Was thinking of rp-21's but not sure.

The a900's sound great with some metal and some other times it seems they fall short to me. Just looking for something to fill that gap mucially, something with a little more bass and extention perhaps.

Doing the blu-tak mod to the A900s made them more energetic to my ears (which is a good thing for metal).

I was thinking about modding them but I am put off by having to pretty much completely disasemble them to be honest.
I searched around but I havnt seen the exact mod in question done to the A900's.
