Since Apple will start selling EMI's music at 256kbps AAC in May without any DRM, which DAPs besides the iPods support AAC?

As far as I know the zune and the ipod support AAC out of the box, and the latest generation of archos players support it trough the optional "podcasting" plug-in.

Creative and cowon don't support the format for now.

Perhaps then you should change the title of your thread to remove the phrase "Apple to Sell EMI's Music DRM Free."

Maybe you should read the whole thread title.

The question is, which AAC supporting DAPs support the .mp4 container and iTunes' tagging? Example, I think Sony DAPs support AAC, but only .3gp container, and Sonicstage definitely doesn't like iTunes' tag. Even further, iPods seem to be the only DAP that support gapless AAC (again, iTunes' tagging). I just wish everybody can agree to 1 standard, at least for the container and tagging. It's like back in the olden days of MP3 players, where every DAPs have somekind of compatibility problems with VBR MP3s, ID3 v1 or 2, etc.
