I stupidly encoded most of my tracks into Apple Lossless for my iPod.

Now, I wanna put music on my n95, which unfortunately, doesn't support this codec

So i have to convert my stuff....Nokia's music manager plays the files back, but won't convert them correctly.

I would like to convert my files to AAC or he-AAC. Does anyone know how to do this?

Bonus points if they can be batch-converted!

dbpoweramp. The batch converter is easy to use.

Just click on the folder (including sub-folders) containing all the music you want to trans-encode, press convert then choose the format and bitrates you want the files to be converted into.

It would help to know it you're running Windows or Linux or anything else.

Perhaps we should instigate a rule that when asking for software help, we include our OS to prevent redundant posts.

iTunes will do it as well. select the files and click
Advanced > Create AAC version

(This option will use whatever you have set as your input option, so you may need to change that to aac)
