Hard isn't it? Especially when adding fuel...

We?

Case closed.

You're objectiveness shine's brightly as well.

Look, daphox, the whole line-by-line arguing is just plain stupid. ANYONE can do that and twist peoples' words around like you seem to be doing. This thread should be closed because it is no longer beneficial to the Head-Fi community and is doing more harm than good. In fact, from the start, I'd say this thread was doomed. Case closed? What case are we referring to? Adding fuel? You betcha, pal. I'm not even part of this thread, I'm just participating in the bashing of an immature moron turned troll. Objectiveness? I don't care about the objective! This thread never had an objective other than to cause trouble! At this point the objective has turned to exactly what I'm doing right now - flaming you. I don't like getting into flamewars normally, but it's not every day I get to mess around with guys like you!

Yes, daphox, WE, the Head-Fi community, have no need of your immaturity or attempts at flaming. "Case closed". Heck, there was no case. "Thread closed"

OK.

I understand what you mean: it's a "one way street" on this forum. There are a couple of words describing people with double standard, I'd suggest you look them up. (Did the profile fit you too well?

).

Them's fighting words. Nevertheless, I like your style.

I just made the mistake of reading (skimming this thread).

I'm suing both of you for my time back.

Seriously both of you ****, lighten up, and everyone unite in bashing all brand whores.

If Bose released the best headphone in the world tomorrow for 100 dollars, I bet you guys would scoff at it and still use your other various headphones just because it's Bose. I'm not saying I like Bose here, but the point is this: Buy based on individual product, not brand.

You guys are all sad sad victims of marketing and anti-marketing, and what's worse is you're making it personal. People who shop based on brand name, or skip over a product based on brand name deserve to get ripped off.

This thread amuses me in a bad way when I look over it. I guess that makes me a person.

I'm going to voice an opinion you probably don't hear very often, because it's both unpopular and somewhat counter-intuitive: let people have their pet brands to love and hate. It seems to be human nature to ally oneself with and/or against certain groups, it just seems more petty now that we're dealing with corporations and not fighting for survival. I'm not really one for shopping by brand, myself, but that doesn't mean I don't have other faults that I like to indulge, and besides, I wouldn't want to deny others their fun.

The problem, to me, is when people take these things too seriously. It's one thing to have some brand you love or love to hate (or even to have a laugh at the expense at the equally illogical group on the other side of the fence), it's quite another to make it personal. Just don't take these things too seriously... that's not good for others or your blood pressure.

I just came back to this thread . . . what are you talking about? Me and Dap stopped fighting awhile ago. Why are you telling us to **** for?

Plus, you're reading into this way too much. I'm not for or against any brand, in the way that you imply. People that have nothing to do with this should just stay out, getting your "words" in isn't helping. Skimming the thread, you've missed the reasons why we argued. I don't know what this crap about victims in your last paragraph is about, since it's not even relevant to this conversation. Read the WHOLE THREAD to see what it was about.

I want nothing more than this thread to die, and I assume daph feel somewhat the same. We're over it. Are you?

EDIT: If you were referring to daph and MD, let them handle things. If you were referring to me and daph, it's done.

To everyone, if it has nothing to do with you then stay out. You're just making fools of yourselves reiterating the obvious. The argument didn't have much do with with brand biases as you guys might think. It's kinda funny, since some of you have argued on this forum in a way that makes this petty fight pale in comparison.

This goes for anybody else who might to "get their words of wisdom in". I'll say it again, it's over. I hope the mods do close this thread.

Actually, I didn't refer to anyone specific. But I guess you feel the need to defend yourself. Guilty conscience?
biggrin.gif

Anyway, the point of the post wasn't to attack anyone. It was to reinforce the opinion that brand whores are dumb.

I have no guilty conscience other than for helping start an idotic argument. Like this one with a person who hasn't read the whole thread and is just making stuff up. Show me my product bias in this thread? Where does it say I obviously hate apple or I would skip its products for no reason? I've even said I like the ipod and would get it cash permitting. So I have nothing to feel guilty for in that respect.

I guess there's no point. Some people just don't listen. Please everyone, let this thread DIE!
