I recently bought an apogee ONE. I plugged it in and used it as a DAC. However, I found that the music coming out through the ONE sounded horrible. I was playing Adele's performance at Royal Albert Hall. Her voice sounded tinny and lacked vocal presence. The overall sound quality is very terrible. Then I tried plugging my headphones into the headphone jack and to my surprise, it sounded ten times better. What is going on???? I am currently using the PRO900, haven't tried plugging in my es5s yet but I doubt the results are going to be any different. Any thoughts?
