Hi all,

I'm wondering if someone could please provide a photo or quick description of the power supply that came with their Mini-DAC. The "open box" one I picked up from a local store came with a "Sunny" switching adapter, 12V, 1.25A, and I've got a hunch it's not the "stock" adapter - I'd just like to know for sure.

Thanks!

Can't help with a picture, sorry, but I do not think it would make much difference. As long as it is within the guidelines (6-14V, supplying at least 1.25A) it should be fine.

As an aside though, I wholeheartedly suggest trying out a battery power supply. You can do this relatively inexpensively using a 12V, 5Ah SLA (sealed lead acid) battery. Provides some good improvements over the wall-wart.
