Hi, I'm trying to decide these days what should I get: mini dac or DAC-1. I did read most (if not all) the threads here regarding this, specially the posts coming from drp, tiberian and jpelg, who had both at home in order to compare them.

Could you please tell me about the jitter in the mini dac? I heard that DAC-1 and Bell Canto have great jitter correction, but I don't know about the mini dac.

Any other comment that could help me to decide (convenience, sound, ...) between this two DACs highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. Best regards

Apogee's miniDAC works just like the Benchmark and Bel Canto, they all use AD1896 ASRC chip to resample and attenuate jitter..

Thanks Glassman, I thought the miniDAC was using a double PLL configuration instead of an ASRC chip.

Good news then. Cheers
