Just wondering if the Digital focus Music Streamer + sounds better as a USB DAC compared to the Apogee duet. Because if it doesn't sound better I'd rather get the apogee so I can use it to record guitar as well.

Gear I use.

Macbook (lossless or CD's)
Kimber cables
Grado RA1 amp
Grado RS1 headphones
Shure SE530 headphones

I just realized the streamer is a sound card not a DAC I'm a little confused with it all.
