This was posted on another forum board and I thought you guys would get a kick out of it ..

This means you can just DRAW the sounds that are in your head, and make them come into reality! This has inspired me to make music on the computer again! The thought of this has made me so excited I'm starting to have a conniption!

Edit: Ok, now that I've caught my breath and played around with it, it looks like most of the sounds in my head are static.

in case anyone is interested, the same can be done with max/msp (although it is probably a bit more difficult to figure out than with coagula).

i think it's neat that people actually ran the song through spectrum analysis and saw the picture that way. whomever did it first probably shat him/herself on the spot...

which song was it that, when played backwards, had some sort of "hidden message"?
