I've just purchased a brand new pair of Grado 325i's for use at work, and am looking for an amp for them. I've never investigated the world of tube amps before so I thought this would be a perfect oppertunity and I'm rather set on one. Unfortunitly, my budget is rather limited so what seem like the typical reccomendations (mapletree, bottlehead) are too much.

From what I've seen, the only commercial choice I have in my budget is the Little Dot II:

I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron and don't mind DIY at all, but I really don't want to ship from 5 places to Canada to build an amp (it will probably cost me more in shipping+duty then for parts). However these kits have stood out:

There have been very positive things said of either on this forum. I'm leaning towards the Dot because it will come with a half decent looking enclosure, and save me time building / tweaking (I want it now damn it!).

Does anybody have any suggestions that may change my opinion or can think of an option I might have missed??

Thanks in advance,
Ryan
