i cant get the album to lineup in order. as you see it goes from 1 to 10 to 11 and then after 14 back to 2,3,4, etc etc.

i have all the id3 tags the correct ways. i dunno why its doing this.

It's prolly because of your sorting string. Try putting this into (if it wasn't there already) Playlist -> Sort -> Sort by ...

%ARTIST% - %ALBUM% - $num(%TRACKNUMBER%,3) - %TITLE%

It's a common computer problem where the sort id based on a number that is right justified (or is it left?). Anyway the computer looks at the first digit on the left and nut the numerical value. If there is an option to justify the column change it to the other way (left to right - or right to left).

This might work. Highlight the entire track list. right click and select masstagger->edit tags. Select add, then scroll to and select auto track number, then hit run.

It's my best guess. I've never had this problem. Goodluck with it.

Yep. You need to add the "tracknumber" mp3-tags to those mp3 files.

If you want to do it manually, you could just right-click on them individually and add it through the properties option.

Is the MP3 file name's track number using the 2-digit format also? My music files all use a 2-digit track number and I sort by file path name and all my stuff lines up fine.
