Do you have this problem: hooking it up to your discman's remote (if you have a remote like the D-Ej01 does) after a short while you have to replace the green filter because it busts? It's happened twice on mine, and I'm scared to use the remote again with the etymotic...

Why would the green filters bust?

If they get clogged, it's because of the wax in your ear, not the remote.

What you are describing is REALLY, REALLY WIERD

I've had the etys for many years and only changed the green filter once, I just make sure my ears are clean before use. I've never heard of a green filter "busting". Do you mean it literally breaks apart?

Maybe it was time for you to replace the filters? What do you mean, by 'busts' ??

So do you actually have the Ety's or are you just trying to tarnish their rep?

I think he's trying to use the Ety ER-4S as a sonic weapon to dirve the dogs in the neigborhood crazy and pulverize concrete into dust.
