Too bad I just need the kit only without the case, batteries or PS. Soldering will be done myself.

You could try to contact BlueFusion directly in the thread over at DIYAudio, maybe send him an email and he might be able to help with your request.
Please have a look in the thread here.

Cheers.

Where can I get the rest of the components from with not-so-expensive shipping to Australia? I've done a quick add to cart list with the required components on nwavguy's blog at Mouser's and I'm at about $79 for the components with the PCB which is pretty expensive.

I think you'd better of buying your kit with BlueFusion in the group buy. Each kit costs $55 with enclosure if I remember correctly, including PCB and front panel.

That's extremely cheap! So it would probably workout to around $35-45 with the kit only with no enclosure etc, since I already have one.

EDIT: Just checked the thread and my pm and so far no response from BlueFusion or anyone else contributing to the thread since I'm the last poster.

^^^
Yes the folks at DIYaudio are a bit slow when it comes to replying to the thread, but at least now things seems to be moving along.
I'm also waiting to get a response from BlueFusion, since it looks like there is already enough people interested in the parts I put up for grabs.
Maybe we will get some replies over the weekend, it usually has a bit more activity as opposed to weekdays.

***WARNING***

Things are not looking good at the DIYaudio O2 group buy thread. So I'd suggest to avoid it until someone else picks it up again or look elsewhere to be safe.

Cheers

Shame really.

EDIT: Update, BlueFusion has replied back to the thread and has pm'd me saying that the kits soldered are $40 shipped which is cheap but I'm unsure of his reliability of whether or not he will/will not post out my kit once I have made payment via Paypal.

The diyaudio gb by bluefusion is going from bad to worse, I've just joined up here, I didn't realise that I hadn't previously. I'll be sticking around though :)

DefQon, can you confirm, BF is offering people completed constructed kits now too? I'm checking up to see if he's double selling some of these parts somehow.

It is crazy the amount of time he's taking on this. We'll try and sort this out over there but I just did some googling and found this discussion here and had not seen any mention of him selling completed, soldered kits.

Well I haven't been on DIYaudio in a while because I've lost interest in the group buy organized by BF who has a past record of delaying things and scamming certain people, but that's what he said when I pm'd him a while ago, that completed kits without the wallwart, batteries and case just soldered PCB+ components is $40 shipped. About $80 for a complete build with everything in an enclosure.

BTW, Willmax how has your two extra kits been going over at DIYaudio, has BF responded back to you regards to when or who your kit will be sold to or sent to you?

There were quite a few people interested in the bits and pieces in the end so BF kindly refunded me the money, however I have no idea who ended up with my parts after that.

Well that is somewhat a good thing besides the delay, reckon I should just shoot for it and go back to the DIYaudio thread and grab spare kits off BF? I really want the O2 amp since its so praised and built upon on measurements.
