Anyone using zero audio Tenores and fiio e12

I have the Zero Audio DX-200-CT Carbo Tenore
they are already warm IEMs...

the Fiio E12 is very punchy, forward sounding mids, with smooth upper mids, and a bass that hits hard and fast.

ymmv ofc. but i would NOT match those 2... unless you are a "bass-head".

eyal1983,
Thanks for the advice.  I do tend to like "more bass" when it comes to rock music.  I also have a pair of Sol HD tracks that I got as a gift years ago and was thinking that the E12 might help with those.  I figured for the price could I really go wrong:)

I was using the Tenores with my E12.  I don't hear well so I tend to have pretty high volume on the E12.  The Tenores couldn't take it. Even though (I believe) the specs state 100mw input capability.  I may have gotten a weak pair I don't know.  I also have the JVC HA-FXT 90's and they are pretty much made of iron as I can tell.  Have actually had the E12 at full volume with them and it was great.

yes, the E12 will give you a "basshead" bass.. if you adore bass - this is just fine

as for Eric...
I just can't say it :frowning2:

BTW
Sennheiser IE80 is a better "bass IEM" than the Tenores.

eyal1983..cool...should be an interesting experience then.  They were delivered today so I will have a good chance to try them out this weekend.
