I ordered a pair of Sony mdr1000x. I have a iPhone 6S. I was wondering if anyone is happy with AAC codec streaming to their MDR1000x's? It is too bad apple refuses to adapt APTX.
I was thinking should order a Sony hi res player that supports LDAC but not sure if it would be significant over AAC.
Also, if I did pull the trigger on the LDAC player, what source files would I put on the player? Would it not be wasteful on space to throw large 24/192 flac files on the player to have it transmitted on lower res LDAC codec?
