anyone tried a fiio e07k + e09k combo, how does it compare to a standalone e10k?

Hello, I'm new to the forum and to audio related stuff.

I Currently only have the e07k and its a bit of an upgrade compared to my motherboard's ALC889 filled with EMI and front panel ground problems which was a nightmare for the past 3 years. My headphones used on the e07k are mdr 1rmk2, X1 and lower end philips models shl3300 and etc, so far they sound puchier and cleaner than my onboard. I plan to get an audio monitor in the near future if I can find a good deal on that one.

I was planning on getting an e10k for permanent desktop parking, then I read about the e09k, but there are no clear feedbacks about the e07k+e09k being used together or the two being compared to jds labs 02amp+dac combo. I'm should be looking for a flat/neutral output from dac/amp combo to balance out the headphones right? or did I miss something?

Has anyone tried it and with diffent types of headphones, how does it sound like compared to the reference model combo of jds labs?

Well, I have tried the E07k and E09K combo, and I'm pretty sure that they are better than a stand-alone E10k, especially for over-ear headphones. The E09k is fast, punchy and has lots of power, which can be use with higher grade headphones in case you wanna upgrade your output. The stand-alone E10k is, however, better with sensitive IEMs.

I also came across this thread http://www.head-fi.org/t/716061/fiio-e09k-and-e07k in the second to the last paragraph it states about the 10omhs impedance? will that affect the x1 (Impedance: 30Ω, Sensitivity: 100dB/mW) and mdr 1rmk2 (24 Ω at 1 kHz, 105 dB/mW) if so in what way?
