Anyone out there still staying "old school" and using pcdp's with your portable amps? Maybe just for desktop or bedside use?

If so, what pcdp are you using, and what are you pairing it with (amp & cans)?

Bedside and transportable rig is an iRiver iMP900 -> HeadFive. But I'm planning to replace the amp with a portable amp so both can be battery powered and used on the go.
The Line Out of the 900 is really great.

I use a Z-Audio Lambda amp with a Sony dne-920 and love it.Dont know why I never hooked up my Microdac to it but recently did that and now I'm liking this setup even more.Sounds fantastic with px100's/225's/ or ms2i. I'm happy with it and feel no need for an mp3 player and I never use the home system at all. It's a great setup with good synergy.Plus the dne 920 has a line out for optical cable.

Sony D-NE 900 >Total Airhead> E2c/HD590/KSC75/Bass Freq. Home listening & portable if I'm away for a few days, otherwise my titchy 128mb (!) mp3 player for work/day trips. Headroom's Airbag comes in real handy.

I use Panasonic SL-CT810 with Go-Vibe V3 and AKG K 271 S as my office rig. I like handling discs, actually. More than selecting files in a DAP : )
