Seems like the left driver took a dump this morning. I am getting the blown speaker rattle with anything with bass. I bummed the HP are a month old.

Anyway, how has the turnaround been and experience?

I sent my K81DJs, got K181DJs without any extra fee.

Satisfied.

Check for hairs in the fabric covering the driver. You'd be amazed how awful that can sound.

The left channel of my K501s was dropping out intermittently. I sent them to AKG for warranty repair. AKG replaced the cable and the 501s came back to me in about a week's time. I've had no problems since. My only expense was shipping cost to AKGs repair facility in TN.

Looks like its the cable or the connection to the left driver, after trying again the sound came in clear for second and went in and out afterwards. Anyway, off to AKG she goes.
