Only thinking about the general break in trend of a components life cycle, it sounds like they needed some break in... (?)

I wear them everyday at work. Swapping between them and the ER4-S depending on how isolated I wanted to be and if I want my inner or outer ear to be sore.

gotcha...

I was hoping that they would be able to squeeze more bass out of them. you said that they were like Er4-s in sound, are they as detailed? do they offer any advantages sonically?

(I personally think that the er4s is an incredible unit, and own a pair myself).
