Got a pair of im590 2 weeks ago. Really like the sound, really hate the cable. I have done recables before but never on IEM. Has anyone done it on these? How do I open it? Are there only 2 wires per side? Any info would help, thanks!

Hi bboe, do you have the older version (with the silver metal plug), or the newer version (with molded plastic plug)? The newer version has a softer cable, that is less prone to kinking. If you have the older one, normally we will replace it under warranty if/when the kinks cause fraying in the cloth.
 
Otherwise, if you were to try doing any such work yourself, it would void the warranty.
