Just read a review from Wes Phillips, about PJBox, not very convincing. Does anyone own it? I'm going to get a Nomad, but I wonder if PJBox is a better choice. In particular, I'm interested in knowing the sound quality.

It was a good first attempt but two years later it's pretty sad, especially compared to an iPod. I had one and sold it.

The only thing it has going for it is that it can have 40G storage as it uses 2.5" laptop drives. Basically Compaq created it as a research project and shortly before all the bugs were ironed out it was sold to Hango, a Korean company. Unfortunately Hango were not interested in anything but gathering cash in exchange for product and it never improved.
