My left ear canal is smaller than my right - the plastic flanged eartip is hard to insert & is painful after 20 minutes. The right ear is a perfect fit. Anyone mixing sizes? I just checked out the Ety site and will probably buy a pack of the smaller sized flanged eartips....

Why don't you try trimming the flanges. Someone on this site did this with good results. Try a search.

Another suggestion: try the foamies. They can compensate for some differences in canal size.
