No not the historical movement but the 70's and 80's prog rock band. I find their records to be absolutely spell binding. I remember the time my friend and I bought Scheherazade and Other Stories at a record shop, sat down and didn't talk at all for the entire side. The music was really that magical and Annie Haslam's voice is really something from another world. Their progressions and movements in each song are really something beautiful to behold.

I think one of their crowning moments is "Things I Don't Understand" off of their 1974 LP Turn Of The Cards. The ending progression on that song is absolutely breathtaking and I can never get enough listening to that song.

Anyone enjoy this truly unique band?

Love the band.

Midas Man, Mother Russia, A Trip to the Fair, Black Flame, Ashes are Burning, Prologue, Ocean Gypsy, The Prince and Princess are really good songs and my favorite. Annie has a perfect voice for them.

Da Capo is a good sampler of their music for someone interested.
