Of course there HD based player will continue to grow in capacity, but what of their flash based stuff? I like the iFP-390T, but wish it played louder, had USB2 or firewire, and could hold more for less.

I also saw on ign.com a picture of a DVD player but have heard nothing of it since their article. Anyone know?

yeah im an iriver junkie so....
iRiver announced the iFP-500 and the iMP-700 at that one electronics expo...

iFP-500
-Comes in three sizes - 256mb, 512mb, and 1gb
-Has a built in rechargable battery
-Different shape than other iFPs
-Might have a expansion slot (not sure though)
-usb 2.0

iMP-700
-An upgrade of the iMP-50 basically.. It looks all sporty and i think might have more antishock

iGP-100
-Status is unkown but I read some where that iRiver has given up on them or at leasted stopped development because of the Cornice drives being to buggy
-Has 1.5gb Storage capacity
-I saw a tag at Best Buy for them at a price of $229

iHP-115
-15gb version of the iHP-100
-Only available in Korea

iHP-200
-20gb version of iHP-100
-Not officially anounced yet

iMP-500
-Grand piano like shape
-Has a big anti-shock

iDVD
-A standard set-top DVD player not really officially announced

OGG
-iRiver has teamed up with 2 other companies to develop ogg support however they said they need to decrease the size of the fw for ogg to 1/2
-According to a Korean forum tests of ogg in various bitrates have worked
-Will be supported probably on the iMP-550, iFP-300, and iHP-100
