I'm not even sure if this should be posted in the general headphone forum but I've never really seen a similar post elsewhere. (Maybe other regional forums would work?) I'm looking to audition and hopefully purchase a new set of cans locally. I'd buy online but I usually end up with a severe case of buyers remorse awaiting shipment. Can anyone suggest a good place to check out cans that has a good selection?

You should really reconsider buying from headroom at www.headphone.com. I got my first pair of phones from them and didn't regret it one bit. And if you don't like the phones at all, they have a great return policy. Their selection is going to be way better than any local shop you may find as well.

If you are wondering what type of headphone to buy, all you have to do is list what type of music you like, and how much money you are willing to spend and I'm sure someone on the forum will have a good suggestion.
