I've not used them for any of my gear but have listened to a Romi WM1Z and I couldn't get passed the extra hiss over stock to give it a propper test. I've also heard a Romi AK240 but not a stock AK240 so pointless me mentioning it

My Romi WM1Z has zero hiss, even with very sensitive IEMs.

Tybot, so what did it do for sound? warmer, smoother, clearer etc?

I'm a very bad person to ask. I have also have an unmodded WM1Z and I don't hear much difference. My younger friend with better ears says the Romi sounds better all around but that's probably not much help. Both sound great to me.
