Has anyone ever tried the AUDIO TECHNICA ATH-D40fs STUDIOPHONES? I am kind of itchy to try them. AT refers to these closed cans as "Precision studiophones". I wonder if they sound like SONY V6 or other DJ cans. Comments will be welcome.

I hate to say it...but the stuff that AT exports to USA is crap. For DJ use, I would recommend the Sony MDR-V6 or Sennheiser HD25's.

I have heard these and they SUCK big time! It sounded like I was listening to the music underwater. I can't imagine that even the maximum amount of break-in would get them to sound better than awful. Get the Sony MDR-V6 or MDR 7506. They sound like the best headphones in the world in comparison...

Regards
