I'm starting this thread because I know I can't be the only one who has used NPS Q45-T contact enhancer only to be horrified at how it's scratched the life out of my XLR and RCA pins, banana plugs, binding posts, and pretty much anything I've applied it to.

I purchased a 5ml bottle from The Cable Company in November, and enthusiastically applied it pretty much everywhere, exactly as directed, leaving a very thin coating.
A couple of weeks ago, I was messing around with the spaghetti that is the world behind my rack, and noticed things felt scratchy and odd, so I started looking......things were very badly abraded, I'm talking like I took 120 grit sandpaper to the connectors. So I opened the bottle, and rubbed some between my fingers, and sure enough, it feels like there's fine sand in the mix.

I called The Cable Company to tell them about the situation, and was interrogated and gaslit by their arrogant employee, Christopher Jendralski, who basically did everything he could to tell me I was wrong and this is impossible because nanoparticles blabla. The guy was acting like a lawyer and it was obvious I will have little chance of the situation even being acknowledged, let alone remedied. But it would be helpful to hear from anyone else who's noticed what I have.

It's really hard to believe anyone would think it's a good idea to make a product designed to be applied to our "jewelry" that would contain obvious abrasive particles!

So I'm also writing this to make people aware that this is the situation, and maybe save someone from ruining dozens of connectors as I have done.
