Anyone have experience with this cable? (AKG K702)

It is a DIY'd cable using a standard microphone-cable type thing with neutrik/switchcraft plugs terminated onto it. It's hard to say if the materials are any better than the stock cable. It has a thicker copper wire, the quality of the copper is likely comparable to stock.

You could write the seller and ask specifically what the cable material and other parts are.

DIY cables are reputed (I think I read that recently somewhere on this board) to be better buys than those from commercial vendors, though with the latter of course you have a better idea of what you're getting. A replacement cable from AKG itself costs about $13 (recent quote I got from their Parts Dept.), so this might be worth a shot.
