I've been looking at grabbing a pair of the CS200, but I can't find any reviews or info on them. I'm wondering if speakers would be as good/bright/upfront as the portapro, ksc75, etc? I know they make PortaPro with inline mic, but I prefer a boom style mic. Anyone have experience with these? They seem rather new.

I'm looking for a budget gaming headset and want to avoid the "gamer" branded stuff, as I've read they tend to have inferior sound quality.

I would stick with the better Koss stuff like GMR-545 and SB42. Those have the better drivers including the GMR which has the 60Ohm driver in it. The CS200 seems to be the KPH8, the $9.99 model, which will sound below what you want them to be as good as. Not as low a price but there is usually a 15% off code for Koss.com
