I just learned this morning that my Rega amp got lost in transit via Canada Post/US Mail. It tracked OK until it hit the port of entry in Jersey City NJ. Nine days and it's still "there" although no one can locate it.

Time to give up and suck up the loss?

I sent a package from Waterloo to just below the border in Michigan, and it ended up being "lost" for three months. I had to refund the buyer and assumed it was gone for good. Right before I was about to make an insurance claim, it turned up in Michigan, so I didn't even get any damn insurance money out of it.
