Currently have a Panasonic SL-CT800

How is the sound quality of the Sony D-NE1?

I also have a supermini amp and eggo 66

will supermini be strong enough to support Audio Technica W1000 on a portable?

If you're in Europe, forget it. The D-NE1 has a pathetic 1.5mw into 16 ohms for the headphone socket.

What about the headphone power in Japan/Asia?
Why is it different in Europe? or is it everywhere...

also, i'll be using a mini amp for the output, so will the weak headphone out affect me?

I'm in Taiwan now but will be buying stuff from HK this weekend.

Do you know if Audio-Technica ATH-W1000 headphones are cheaper in HK?
